Dalian Jiahui Zhuopu Kindergarten is the first international knidergarten jointly build by Beijing Royal School and Dalian Jiahui Education Group. The kindergarten covers an area of 3800 m2, and its floor area is more than 2800 m2. The kindergarten has 9 bilingual classes and 1 international class. Green trees make shade in the kindergarten. Old trees that reach into the sky have witnessed the growth of “children” in the kindergarten. It is a forest and garden kindergarten.
The kindergarten has set up refined course
system in accordance with children’s law of physical and psychological development, ranging from special foreign language teaching course to traditional cultural course, from bridging course from the kindergarten to the primary school to the special literacy course and from immersion language course to inquiry-based thematic course. The kindergarten advocates children to learn about the world and explore the world when they are young. The kindergarten actively explores game-based teaching model, holds themed teaching activities and hold a regular performance as per English picture books in an effort to “cultivate children’s reading habit through picture books.”
Develop intelligence through food and future-oriented perspective. The kindergarten combines the food education courses and traditional culture by regarding daily life as foundation, traditional Chinese Twenty-Four Solar Terms as a principle line and large festival activity as a carrier. The kindergarten focuses on building Zhuopu Food Court by teaching children to make food in practice in the hope of teaching children through practice and enabling children to learn food cooking method while they are playing. It can help children and their parents to form a healthy dietary concept and cultivate children’s good eating habit and diet etiquette as well as promote children’s healthy growth.
The kindergarten has a faculty team with high education background, high quality and rich education experience. There is 1 principal, 1 deputy director, 27 frontline teachers and 4 foreign teachers in the kindergarten. The frontline teachers all majored in the preschool education and acquired teacher’s certifications. One of them is a postgraduate majoring in preschool education and 22 of them are undergraduates majoring in preschool education.
